US Telecommute opportunityRAWfolio is a small web design and development firm that caters to and primarily builds custom sites for professional photographers, along with developing and maintaining our WordPress framework built for photographers.
We're looking for a talented front end developer with a strong desire to build eye catching sites and game changing web applications, to help us with our ever increasing work load as well as aid in development with many different in house web apps. You'll start immediately in a part-time capacity, with the opportunity to transition to full-time after successful completion of initial projects.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise (2+ yrs) building web sites and web applications with highly interactive UI
- Advanced PHP & Javascript (both from scratch and using jQuery) knowledge
- Advanced knowledge and experience with WordPress
- Ability to meet deadlines and to see a project through to completion
- Solid communicator with an impeccable work ethic
- Experience working with remote teams
Nice to haves:
- Experience with Git
- Experience (or Expertise) with Photoshop and Illustrator
- An eye for design even if you're not a designer
- Experience working with remote teams
- Experience building portfolio or image based sites
RAWfolio is based in Metro Detroit but you can be based anywhere in the US for this role (Only US applicants will be considered). Part-time position with steady work flow (15-20+ hrs/week) available immediately with an opportunity to increase hours and/or transition to full-time role down the line.
